부조화 기반 비만 예방 프로그램의 유효성 평가 (Project Health)

비만은 미국의 주요 공중 보건 문제입니다.
소수의 비만 예방 프로그램은 후속 조치를 통해 체중 증가 위험을 감소시켰고 프로그램은 매우 집중적이어서 보급이 어렵고 비용이 많이 듭니다.
참가자 중심의 건강한 식습관 및 신체 활동 라이프스타일 변화와 관련된 신체 불만족이 있는 젊은 성인을 대상으로 하는 간단한 3시간 선택적 예방 프로그램(건강한 체중)은 대체 개입 및 평가 전용에 비해 체질량 지수(BMI) 및 비만 발병의 증가를 크게 감소시켰습니다. 3년 추적 관찰을 통해 통제하지만 효과는 규모가 작았습니다.
효능을 높이기 위해 연구자들은 매우 효과적인 부조화 기반 섭식장애 예방 프로그램에서 도출된 건강에 해로운 식이 및 활동 관행에 대한 부조화 유발 활동을 추가했습니다.
파일럿 시험에서 이 새로운 Project Health 개입이 건강한 체중 개입과 사전 교육 브로셔 조건 모두에 비해 BMI의 증가를 유의하게 감소시켰음을 발견했습니다.
조사관은 원래 건강한 체중 개입에 부조화 유발 요소를 추가하면 체중 증가 예방 효과가 개선되는지 여부를 테스트할 엄격한 다중 사이트 유효성 시험을 수행할 것을 제안합니다.
연령 및 체중 문제로 인해 미래 체중에 대한 위험이 있는 360명의 대학생이 다음 세 가지 조건 중 하나로 무작위 배정됩니다. (1) 세련된 6시간 그룹 기반 불협화음 기반 Project Health, (2) 6시간 그룹 기반 건강한 체중 개입, 또는 (3) 심리 교육 비디오("세계의 무게") 조건.

상세 설명
목표 1은 Project Health가 2년 후속 조치 동안 정상 체중 개입 및 비디오 제어 조건에 비해 % 체지방 증가를 크게 감소시킨다는 가설을 테스트합니다. 이차 결과는 BMI, 우울 증상 및 섭식 장애 증상입니다. 조사관은 또한 건강한 체중을 비디오 컨트롤과 비교할 것입니다.

ACTIVE_COMPARATOR: 건강한 체중
건강한 체중 개입의 주요 목표는 칼로리 섭취와 출력 사이의 균형을 이루기 위해 매주 입력과 출력에 작고 지속 가능한 변화를 주는 것입니다.
모든 세션은 이전 세션에서 다룬 내용에 대한 간략한 검토, 교육 유인물 발표, 이전 행동 변화 목표에 대한 신중한 검토, 다음 세션을 위한 건강한 행동 변화 계획 개발로 시작됩니다.
모든 세션의 가정 운동은 개별화된 식단 및 운동 목표를 따르고 음식 및 운동 일지를 유지하여 미래의 건강한 변화를 위한 영역을 결정하는 것으로 구성됩니다.

Bod Pod S/T를 통해 ADP(기류 변위 혈량 측정법)를 사용하여 % 체지방을 평가합니다.
두 가지 측정값이 평균화됩니다.
체질량을 추정 체적으로 나눈 값으로 계산된 체밀도는 표준 참조 데이터를 기반으로 연령 및 성별 조정 체지방 백분위수 점수를 계산하는 데 사용됩니다(McCarthy et al., 2006).
예비 타당성 연구(N = 30)는 % 체지방의 직접 DEXA 측정이 체지방의 ADP 추정치(r = .88)와 훨씬 더 강력하게 상관관계가 있음을 밝혔습니다.
BMI보다 (r = .23).
2년 추적 기간 동안 연령 및 성별 조정 체지방 백분위수의 변화가 주요 결과가 될 것입니다.
