상세 설명
안전한 수면과 건강 지식은 국가, 주 및 지역 차원에서 우선 순위입니다. 1990년대에 Back to Sleep 캠페인이 시작된 이후로 크게 개선되었지만 수면 관련 영아 사망, 특히 영아급사증후군(SIDS)의 비율은 10년 이상 정체되어 있습니다. SIDS 교육을 위해 인쇄물이 널리 배포되고 있지만 현재까지 효과가 입증된 자료는 없으며 전반적인 만족도도 낮습니다. 그 이유는 수동적 전달, 매력적이지 않은 내용, 특히 사회경제적 지위가 낮은 인구에 대해 지나치게 높은 읽기 수준을 포함합니다. 증거에 따르면 이상적인 전략은 의료 종사자가 전달하고 여러 번 검토한 단순성, 정서적 호소력, 문화적 감수성 및 낮은 읽기 수준을 결합한 인쇄 자료를 포함합니다. 아동 도서는 그림과 텍스트를 결합하여 감정을 불러일으키고 가치 있고 반복되는 부모-자녀 공유 경험에 영감을 주는 잠재적으로 이상적인 매체입니다.
이것은 조기 개입 가정 방문 프로그램인 ECS(Every Child Succeeds)에 등록한 위험에 처하고 사회경제적 지위가 낮은 초산모 집단을 포함하는 무작위 통제 시험입니다. 9개 기관의 ECS 가정 방문자는 안전한 수면 교육을 위해 특별히 고안된 동화책(개입) 또는 표준 브로셔(대조)를 활용하도록 무작위로 배정됩니다. 우리의 목표 등록은 230명의 어머니입니다. 교육을 받은 ECS 가정 방문자는 임신 3기, 산전 가정 방문 중에 동의를 얻고, 책 또는 브로셔를 배포하고, 건강 정보(REALM-R 화면을 통해), 안전한 수면 지식 및 가정 정보 인식 오리엔테이션에 대한 기본 평가를 수행합니다. 결과 데이터는 영아 수면 루틴이 확립되는 생후 1주차 및 SIDS 최고 위험이 시작되는 생후 2개월차에 후속 가정 방문 중에 동일한 방문자에 의해 수집됩니다. 방문할 때마다 책이나 소책자를 검토합니다.
결과는 다음 범주에서 개입 그룹과 통제 그룹 간에 비교됩니다. 1) 산모의 안전한 수면 지식, 2) 산모의 안전한 수면 지침 준수(관찰됨), 3) 안전한 수면 지침을 전달하는 데 사용되는 자료에 대한 산모 및 제공자 만족도, 4 ) 건강 교육을 위해 아동 도서를 활용하는 것이 가정 문맹 퇴치에 영향을 미치는 정도(즉, 독서에 대한 태도).

- 비영어권,

- 생후 3주 이전에 최초의 출생 후 가정 방문이 불가능할 정도로 퇴원 지연.
