Beschrijving
Inclusiecriteria:
- Proefpersonen van 18-65 jaar oud
- Onderwerpen waren gepland om algemene anesthesie met propofol te ondergaan
- Onderwerpen met Body Mass Index (BMI) 18-35 kg/m2
- Proefpersonen met een fysieke status van I-II van de American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
- Proefpersonen met ondertekende geïnformeerde toestemming.
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Proefpersonen met allergieën voor propofol, lidocaïne, ondansetron
- Proefpersonen met een enorme hartaandoening
- Proefpersonen met een hartritmestoornis met of zonder behandeling
- Proefpersonen met instabiele hemodynamiek
- Proefpersonen met een contra-indicatie voor propofol, lidocaïne, ondansetron
- Proefpersonen met intubatie- en ventilatieproblemen
- Proefpersonen met een verminderd bewustzijn, geschiedenis van epileptische aanvallen of hoofdletsel
- Proefpersonen met een voorgeschiedenis van pijnstillende behandelingen
- Onderwerpen met zwangerschap.
Uitvalcriteria:
- Proefpersonen met allergische reacties veroorzaakt door propofol, lidocaïne, ondansetron
- Niet meewerkende onderwerpen
- Onderwerpen in nood
- Onderwerpen met moeilijke adertoegang in de dorsum manus
- Proefpersonen met infectie en/of ontsteking op de geplande locatie voor intraveneuze canulatie.
