Borstvoeding Promotie RCT en Child Metabool Syndroom
Het algemene doel van de PROBIT-studie is om de invloed te onderzoeken van een gerandomiseerde interventie ter bevordering van borstvoeding, ontworpen om de duur en exclusiviteit van borstvoeding te verlengen ("de interventie ter bevordering van borstvoeding") op de ontwikkeling van de gezondheidsresultaten van moeder en kind.
De hypothese is dat randomisatie naar de interventie zal worden geassocieerd met een lager vetgehalte bij kinderen, een lager risico op astma en atopie, een verbeterde longfunctie en verbeterde cognitieve uitkomsten.

Deelname Criteria

- Borstvoeding gestart bij de geboorte, zonder contra-indicaties voor borstvoeding
- Apgarscore >=5 na 5 minuten
- Voldragen zwangerschap
- Geboortegewicht > 2500g
