RCT sulla promozione dell'allattamento al seno e sindrome metabolica infantile
L'obiettivo generale dello studio PROBIT è indagare l'influenza di un intervento di promozione dell'allattamento al seno randomizzato progettato per aumentare la durata e l'esclusività dell'allattamento al seno ("l'intervento di promozione dell'allattamento al seno") sullo sviluppo dei risultati di salute materna e infantile.
L'ipotesi è che la randomizzazione all'intervento sarà associata a una minore adiposità infantile, un minor rischio di asma e atopia, una migliore funzionalità polmonare e migliori risultati cognitivi.

- Allattamento iniziato alla nascita, senza controindicazioni all'allattamento al seno

- Peso alla nascita > 2500 g
