Viktige inkluderingskriterier:
- Forsøkspersoner som kan ha nytte av studiedeltakelsen etter etterforskerens mening og som hadde deltatt i en tidligere nemolizumab-studie for AD
- Kvinnelige forsøkspersoner i fertil alder (dvs. fertile, etter menarche og inntil de blir postmenopausale med mindre de er permanent sterile) må samtykke i enten å være strengt avholdende gjennom hele studien og i 12 uker etter den siste studiemedikamentinjeksjonen, eller å bruke en effektiv og godkjent prevensjonsmetode gjennom hele studien og i 12 uker etter siste injeksjon av studiemedisin.
Nøkkelekskluderingskriterier:
- Pasienter som under sin deltagelse i en tidligere nemolizumab-studie opplevde en AE som etter utrederens oppfatning kan indikere at fortsatt behandling med nemolizumab kan utgjøre en urimelig risiko for forsøkspersonen.
- Gravide kvinner, ammende kvinner eller kvinner som planlegger en graviditet under den kliniske studien.
- Kroppsvekt < 30 kg
- Kutan infeksjon innen 1 uke før baseline-besøket, enhver infeksjon som krever behandling med orale eller parenterale antibiotika, antivirale midler, antiparasitter eller antifungale midler innen 2 uker før baseline-besøket, eller enhver bekreftet eller mistenkt koronavirussykdom (COVID)-19-infeksjon innen 2 uker før screeningen eller baseline-besøket. Forsøkspersoner kan screenes på nytt når infeksjonen er løst. Løsning av COVID-19-infeksjon kan bekreftes ved hjelp av metoder for utvinningsvurdering.
- Anamnese med overfølsomhet (inkludert anafylaksi) overfor et immunglobulinprodukt (plasma-avledet eller rekombinant, f.eks. monoklonalt antistoff)
- Ethvert klinisk signifikant problem, basert etterforskers vurdering

Alvorlighetsgraden vil bli vurdert på en skala fra 0 (fraværende) til 3 (alvorlig) for hvert av de 4 kroppsområdene: hode/nakke, bagasjerom, øvre lemmer og underekstremiteter, med halve poeng tillatt.
EASI-skåren kan variere fra 0 til 72 med høyere skåre som representerer større alvorlighetsgrad av atopisk dermatitt.
