Ved å rekruttere godt ferdige saker som har en historie med trengsel fra Kasr el Ainy uten alvorlig skjelettavvik, bør saker være godt dokumentert. Den nøyaktige og fullstendige dokumentasjonen av pasientene når det gjelder tilstedeværelse av:
- Preoperativ og postoperativ røntgen.
- Preoperative og postoperative bilder av god kvalitet.
- Preoperative og postoperative studiemodeller.
- Detaljert dokumentasjon av behandlingsforløp og mekanikk. Hvis det var ufullstendige data gitt i pasientens fil; pasienten vil da bli ekskludert fra studien.
Beskrivelse
Inklusjonskriterier:
- Saker med godt gjennomført kjeveortopedisk behandling.
- Saker med historie med overtrengning på mer enn 10 mm og som krever uttrekk.
- Tilfeller uten alvorlig skjelettavvik.
- Godt dokumenterte tilfeller med både preoperative og postoperative journaler.
- Pasienter med et fullt sett med permanente tenner brøt ut
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- Feilbehandlede kjeveortopedisk tilfeller.
- Tilfeller med mild trengsel som håndteres av andre behandlingsalternativer enn ekstraksjon.
- Voksende pasienter eller viser gjenværende vekst i cefalometrisk analyse
- Tilfeller med alvorlig skjelettavvik.
- Dårlig dokumenterte saker.
- Pasienter som ikke holder seg til forankringsplanen
