MIND-VR: Wirtualna rzeczywistość dla wsparcia psychologicznego operatorów COVID-19

Od początku pandemii COVID-19 wdrożono kilka programów wsparcia psychologicznego dla pracowników służby zdrowia, w szczególności grupowe lub indywidualne sesje doradcze prowadzone osobiście lub za pośrednictwem telefonów i platform wideokonferencyjnych. Istnieją jednak istotne bariery w realizacji takich inicjatyw psychologicznych. W tym kontekście interwencje cyfrowe mające na celu poprawę usług zdrowotnych i wyników opieki są rekomendowane do wdrażania i udzielania zdalnego wsparcia psychologicznego.
Rzeczywistość wirtualna może odgrywać istotną rolę w zapewnianiu opieki psychologicznej pracownikom służby zdrowia w obliczu COVID-19. Nowe komercyjne wyświetlacze nagłowne sprawiły, że rzeczywistość wirtualna stała się dostępna nawet dla masowego odbiorcy, przełamując bariery w rozpowszechnianiu i wykorzystaniu tej technologii. Dzięki temu wirtualna rzeczywistość może być obecnie wykorzystywana przez ludzi w sposób autonomiczny i oferowana do udzielania pomocy psychologicznej na odległość.
W tym kontekście to randomizowane badanie kontrolowane (RCT) ma na celu zbadanie skuteczności domowego programu wirtualnej rzeczywistości w celu zmniejszenia stresu i niepokoju na próbie włoskich pracowników służby zdrowia zaangażowanych w pandemię COVID-19. W szczególności celem jest porównanie skuteczności tego typu szkoleń w odniesieniu do tego samego programu bez wirtualnej rzeczywistości i listy oczekujących.

Opis
Kryteria przyjęcia:
- Wiek > 18 lat, < 65 lat;
- Pracując na pierwszej linii jako lekarz lub pielęgniarka w nagłym przypadku COVID-19 (tj. asystując pacjentom z COVID-19 lub pracując na oddziałach poświęconych pacjentom z COVID-19);
- Normalna lub skorygowana do normalnej ostrość wzroku;
- Normalna lub skorygowana do normalnej zdolność słyszenia.
Kryteria wyłączenia:
- Choroby fizyczne: problemy sercowo-naczyniowe, choroby neurologiczne, epilepsja;
- Farmakoterapia lekami: psychotropowymi, hipotensyjnymi, przeciwpadaczkowymi;

Eksperymentalny: Grupa rzeczywistości wirtualnej (VR).
Terapia dla uczestników przydzielonych do Grupy VR składa się z trzech sesji domowych po około 30 minut każda, prowadzonych w ciągu tygodnia.
Podczas każdej sesji uczestnicy będą proszeni o spróbowanie przez około 15 minut „MIND-VR”.
Następnie wypróbują wirtualne treści relaksacyjne „Tajemniczy ogród”.

Wykorzystanie specjalnie opracowanych treści VR do dostarczania treści psychoedukacyjnych dotyczących stresu i niepokoju (np. „MIND-VR”) oraz do szkolenia w zakresie technik relaksacyjnych (np. „Tajemniczy ogród”).

Aktywny komparator: Grupa kontrolna (CR).
