暴露于环境烟草烟雾 (ETS) 的儿童一直是全球公共卫生关注的问题。 家庭环境,尤其是父母吸烟,已被确定为儿童的主要暴露源。 因此,父母的参与在预防计划中变得至关重要。 该项目的目的是开发和检查亲子互动计划的效果,以减少儿童在家中接触环境烟草烟雾的水平,促进父母和儿童的预防策略、危害知识和对环境烟草的态度抽烟。 其他目的包括促进父母感知到的家庭反 ETS 气氛和儿童对 ETS 回避行为的自我效能感。
对来自台湾新北市六所小学的 75 名学龄儿童 (ITT) 及其子女(亲子二人组)的父母进行了整群随机对照试验。 干预组中的亲子二人组接受亲子互动计划,包括每周三场小组会议和一次单独的电话咨询会议,该项目在小组会议后 4 周进行。 对照组的参与者在同一时间段内四次收到与烟草信息相关的书面材料,以代替干预会议。 亲子互动干预是根据跨理论模型和I-change模型开发的。 干预的主要重点是灌输有关ETS有害影响机制的知识,纠正人们对导致家庭ETS暴露的吸烟模式以及减少ETS有效和无效策略的认识,并帮助亲子双方制定维持无烟家庭的战略。 邮寄给对照组参与者的书面材料包括有关ETS及其不良反应的信息、导致ETS的家庭吸烟行为和戒烟情况。

亲子互动项目分为三个阶段:预想/沉思阶段、准备阶段、行动/维持阶段。
在第 1 阶段,主要重点是通过提供信息和了解儿童对 ETS 和吸烟的看法来促进积极性。
在第 2 阶段,主要重点是加强父母/孩子规划和实施无烟家庭的能力。
在第三阶段,干预重点是通过不断加强执行能力、识别和消除障碍以及巩固成功经验来维持行为改变和无烟家庭。
亲子互动设计为三个阶段,家长通过各个阶段感知孩子的反馈。
