- 因酒精性 AP 住院的患者
- 在腹痛发作的前一周,每天定期饮用至少 40 克(女性)/ 50 克(男性)酒精或 280 克(女性)/ 350 克(男性)酒精
- 每天吸烟者(一生中至少吸过 100 支香烟,现在每天都吸烟的成年人;CDC 定义),至少有 1 年的吸烟史
- 18-65岁之间的人
- 完成标准干预
- 提供书面知情同意书
排除标准:
- AP 的其他可能病因(例如 胆结石、高于 11.5 mM 的高甘油三酯血症、高钙血症、病毒感染)和具有超过一种已确定病因的病例将被排除
- 主要精神疾病(精神分裂症、双相情感障碍、痴呆症)

重复干预将由前面提到的同一位护士进行,其结构与标准干预类似。
每次访问和干预都将根据患者的动机进行单独更改,但它们将遵循相同的结构。
会议主要分为三个部分:首先,强调吸烟和饮酒对胰腺功能的有害影响。
其次,将讨论患者的动机。
会议的最后一部分将重点放在个人实现预期目标的责任上。
为了提高我们干预的效果,我们希望根据实验室测试为患者提供反馈:将在访谈前测量平均红细胞体积 (MCV) 和伽马谷氨酰转移酶 (GGT) 值。
研究护士不会参与患者护理。

一位受过专门训练的研究护士将提供干预,因为他们被发现在减少饮酒和吸烟方面最有效。
还考虑了干预的成本效益和可行性。
根据世界卫生组织 (WHO) 的 Assist-linked 简短干预将作为干预的基础,平均 30 分钟,基于包含 69 项随机对照试验的审查,得出的结论是更长的干预没有额外的益处。
