详细说明
邀请计划对两个中心的单侧或双侧腭尖牙进行手术暴露的连续患者参加试验。 这些中心是挪威奥斯陆和瑞典延雪平的大学正畸科。
向潜在参与患者及其父母提供有关试验的口头和书面信息,并获得知情同意。
通过使用置换块随机化,参与者被随机分配到两种干预措施之一,以保持治疗组之间的平等分配。 分配隐藏由每个中心的一名未参与研究的人员负责。 两组均未按年龄或性别进行分层。
如果手术时存在上颌乳尖牙,则将牙齿连同阻生尖牙的暴露一起移除。

在使用开放技术进行手术暴露后,犬齿会自发萌出。 参与者由正畸医生进行随访,直到尖牙长出足够多(大约 ½ - 1/3 牙冠高于腭粘膜水平)以将附件粘合到牙冠上。 然后开始使用正畸器具将犬齿移动到粘膜上方的牙弓中对齐。

从手术暴露阶段完成到之前受影响的犬牙被正畸定位在牙弓中,每隔第二个/第三个正畸控制向两个治疗组的参与者分发类似的问卷。
