背景:
帕金森病 (Parkinson's disease, PD) 是全球第二常见且增长最快的神经退行性疾病 [1,2]。 肠道相关症状很常见,而且通常是初始症状,表明 PD 可能起源于肠道 [4]。 十多项研究表明,PD 中的肠道菌群失调以多样性降低、促炎能力增加和短链脂肪酸 (SCFA) 产生减少为关键特征 [5-10],并且 Akkermansia 的相对丰度持续增加 [5-17] ].

设计:
PD 参与者的概念验证、随机顺序、交叉研究检查两个为期 8 周的干预措施:(1) 地中海生酮饮食 (MeDi-KD) 和 (2) 补充中链甘油三酯 (MeDi) 的地中海饮食-MCT),中间有 8 周的清除期。
假设:

- 年龄在40-85岁之间
