Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kehittää ja arvioida Breast Cancer Self-Care App -sovelluksen omatehokkuutta ja kestävyyttä äskettäin diagnosoiduilla rintasyöpäpotilailla, jotka saavat kemoterapiaa.
Tämän tutkimuksen ensimmäisessä vaiheessa kehitä Breast Cancer Self-Care App -prototyyppi suorittamalla potilaiden haastatteluja.
Toisessa vaiheessa kokeellinen kahden ryhmän esitesti-testin jälkeinen kvantitatiivinen tutkimussuunnitelma, jolla arvioidaan Breast Cancer Self-Care App -sovelluksen omatehokkuutta ja kestävyyttä äskettäin diagnosoiduilla rintasyöpäpotilailla, jotka saavat kemoterapiaa.
Potilaat satunnaistettiin koe- ja kontrolliryhmiin.
Kontrolliryhmän potilaat saivat yleistä rutiinihoitoa ja koeryhmän potilaat saivat yleistä rutiinihoitoa sekä Breast Cancer Self-Care App -interventiota.
Molemmat ryhmät täyttivät perusdemografiset, itsetehokkuus- ja sietokykykyselyt esitestissä ja neljän viikon kuluttua.

KOKEELLISTA: yleinen rutiinihoito ja Breast Cancer Self-Care -sovellus
|
Breast Cancer Self-Care App sisältää useita osia - johdannon rintasyöpään, hoitotyyppejä, sivuvaikutusten hoitoa, ravintoa, rentoutusvideoita, vakuutuksia, lääketieteellisiä uutisia ja sivuvaikutusten tallentamista jne.
Tutkija auttoi sovelluksen asentamisessa potilaan matkapuhelimeen, meni henkilökohtaiselle tilille ja pyysi potilasta täyttämään kyselylomakkeet.
Potilaat saivat yksilöllisen terveyskasvatustehtävän Breast Cancer Self-Care -sovelluksessa viikoittain kemoterapialääkkeiden tyypin mukaan.
Neljän viikon kuluttua he täyttivät kyselylomakkeet uudelleen.

Käytä strategioita, joita ihmiset käyttävät terveyden edistämiseen (SUPPH) mittaavat itsehoidon itsetehokkuutta.
Kokonaisasteikolla 29 kohtaa mitataan itsehoidon itsetehokkuutta.
Jokaiselle seuraavista on 3 alaasteikkoa: Stressin vähentäminen (10 pistettä, 5-50 pistettä), Päätösten teko (3 kohtaa, 3-15 pistettä), Positiivinen asenne (16 kohtaa, 16-80 pistettä).
Asteikon kokonaispistemäärät ovat 29-145.
Se osoittaa, että itsehoidon itsetehokkuus kasvaa asteikon kokonaispisteiden kasvaessa.
