Confronto cinematico, cinetico e metabolico della deambulazione transfemorale bilaterale con dispositivi protesici passivi rispetto a quelli alimentati

Lo scopo di questo studio pilota descrittivo ed esplorativo è quello di indagare: (1) cinematica e cinetica dell'anca sul piano sagittale e (2) consumo/costo metabolico, per la deambulazione transfemorale bilaterale con protesi passive rispetto a protesi motorizzate.
Lo studio pilota raccoglierà dati da tre soggetti con amputazioni transfemorali bilaterali.
Le differenze di cinetica, cinematica e consumo/costo di ossigeno quando si confrontano componenti passivi e alimentati possono indicare vantaggi per l'applicazione clinica di dispositivi alimentati per le persone con amputazione degli arti inferiori.

Individui con amputazione transfemorale bilaterale che sono ambulatori a livello di comunità.
Gli individui sono deambulanti con dispositivi protesici non alimentati.
Descrizione
Criterio di inclusione:
- Maschio o femmina
- Tutte le cause di amputazione dell'arto: congenite, traumi, vascolari, salvataggio dell'arto, infezione.
- Tutte le lunghezze del moncone transfemorale: disarticolazione articolare, lunga, media, corta, molto corta.
- I soggetti attualmente camminano giornalmente con protesi di tipo interamente passivo.
- I soggetti camminano senza dispositivi di assistenza OPPURE con un bastone a punta singola.
- Camminatori ad alto livello di attività
Criteri di esclusione:
- Età < 18 o > 45 anni
- Comorbidità mediche o condizioni esistenti che possono impedire ai soggetti la capacità di completare il protocollo escluse le amputazioni.
- Farmaci attuali o interventi farmaceutici che possono impedire ai soggetti la capacità di completare il protocollo.
- Qualsiasi componente protesico motorizzato o protesi, inclusi ma non esclusivi: Ossur Proprio Foot, BiOM o BiOM T2 System Foot, Ossur Power Knee, Ossur Symbionic Leg.
- Soggetti che richiedono un deambulatore, stampelle, bastone quadruplo o altri dispositivi di assistenza escluso un bastone a punta singola.
- Camminatori di basso livello di attività
