Deelname Criteria

Onderzoekers zoeken naar mensen die aan een bepaalde beschrijving voldoen, de zogenaamde geschiktheidscriteria. Enkele voorbeelden van deze criteria zijn iemands algemene gezondheidstoestand of eerdere behandelingen.

Inclusiecriteria

  • Bevestigde diagnose van symptomatisch multipel myeloom (MM)
  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (ECOG) score van 0, 1 of 2
  • Kreeg 3 tot 6 cycli van een inductietherapie die een proteasoomremmer (PI) en immunomodulerende (IMiD) omvat [bijv. bortezomib thalidomide en dexamethason (VTd), lenalidomide, bortezomib en dexamethason (RVd)] met of zonder een CD38 monoklonaal antilichaam, of Velcade® (bortezomib), cyclofosfamide, dexamethason (VCd), en gevolgd door een enkele of tandem autologe stamceltransplantatie (ASCT). Consolidatie na stamceltransplantatie is toegestaan
  • Deelnemers binnen 12 maanden na aanvang van de inductietherapie die ten minste een gedeeltelijke respons (PR) bereikten na autologe stamceltransplantatie (ASCT) met of zonder consolidatie, volgens de criteria van de International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG 2016)

Uitsluitingscriteria

  • Progressieve ziekte of klinische terugval (zoals gedefinieerd door IMWG-responscriteria) na ASCT met of zonder consolidatie of reageert niet op primaire therapie
  • Smeulend myeloom, solitair plasmacytoom of niet-secretoir myeloom
  • Bekende betrokkenheid van het centrale zenuwstelsel/meningeale MM
  • Voorgeschiedenis van maligniteiten, anders dan MM, tenzij de deelnemer ≥ 5 jaar ziektevrij is
