Inklusjonskriterier:

  • Deltakeren har dokumentert diagnose av multippelt myelom og målbar sykdom, definert som ett av følgende:

    • Myelomprotein (M-protein) ≥ 0,5 gram/desiliter (g/dL) ved serumproteinelektroforese (sPEP), eller
    • M-protein ≥ 200 milligram (mg)/24-timers urinsamling ved urinproteinelektroforese (uPEP) eller,
    • For deltakere uten målbar sykdom i sPEP eller uPEP: serumfrie lettkjedenivåer > 100 mg/liter (L) (10 mg/dL) involverte lettkjede og et unormalt κ/λ-fri lettkjedeforhold.
  • Deltakeren har mottatt minst én tidligere linje med myelombehandling. Merk: En linje kan inneholde flere faser (f.eks. induksjon, [med eller uten] hematopoetisk stamcelletransplantasjon, (med eller uten) konsolidering og/eller [med eller uten] vedlikeholdsterapi).
  • Deltakeren må ha mottatt tidligere behandling med lenalidomid og minst 2 sykluser med et anti-CD38 monoklonalt antistoff.
  • Deltakeren oppnådde minimal respons eller bedre på minst 1 tidligere antimyelombehandling.
  • Deltakeren må ha dokumentert sykdomsprogresjon under eller etter siste antimyelomregime.

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Deltaker som har hatt tidligere behandling med CC-92480 eller carfilzomib.
  • Deltakeren har tidligere mottatt allogen stamcelletransplantasjon når som helst eller mottatt autolog stamcelletransplantasjon innen 12 uker etter påbegynt studiebehandling.

Endring fra baseline i European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer - Quality of Life C30 Questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-C30)

EORTC QLQ-C30 er det mest brukte livskvalitetsinstrumentet i onkologiske studier. QLQ-C30 består av 30 spørsmål innlemmet i 5 funksjonsdomener fysisk, rolle, kognitiv, emosjonell og sosial), 9 symptom/andre skalaer (tretthet, smerte, kvalme og oppkast, dyspné, søvnløshet, tap av appetitt, forstoppelse, diaré, og økonomiske vanskeligheter), og en enkelt global livskvalitet (QoL)/global helsestatusscore. Elementer i funksjons- og symptomskalaen bruker rå deltakerrespons på 1 til 4, der 1 = "ikke i det hele tatt" og 4 = "veldig mye." De 2 globale elementene inneholder svar fra 1 "veldig dårlig" til 7 "utmerket". Tilbakekallingsperioden er 1 uke. Alle domeneskårer er transformert i et område fra 0 til 100, der en høyere funksjonell skåre indikerer gunstigere utfall og en høyere score på symptomdomenene indikerer et mindre gunstig deltakerutfall.
