Inklusionskriterier:

  • Forsøgspersoner med histologisk bekræftet trin IV eller tilbagevendende NSCLC planocellulær eller ikke-pladeepitel histologi, uden forudgående systemisk anticancerterapi
  • Forsøgspersoner skal have programmeret dødsligand 1 (PD -L1) immunhistokemisk (IHC) test med resultater udført af det centrale laboratorium i screeningsperioden
  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) præstationsstatus på ≤ 1
  • Målbar sygdom ved CT eller MR pr. responsevalueringskriterier i solide tumorer version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) kriterier

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Personer med ubehandlede metastaser fra centralnervesystemet (CNS) er udelukket
  • Personer med en aktiv, kendt eller mistænkt autoimmun sygdom er udelukket
  • Enhver positiv test for hepatitis B-virus eller hepatitis C-virus eller human immundefektvirus (HIV), der indikerer akut eller kronisk infektion

Progressionsfri overlevelse (PFS) defineres som tiden mellem randomiseringsdatoen og datoen for første dokumenterede sygdomsprogression, baseret på BICR-vurderinger (ifølge RECIST v1.1), eller død af enhver årsag, alt efter hvad der indtræffer først baseret på Kaplan-Meier-estimater. Progressiv sygdom (PD): Mindst en 20 % stigning i summen af mållæsionernes diametre, taget udgangspunkt i den mindste sum under studiet (dette inkluderer baseline-summen, hvis den er den mindste i studiet). Objektiv responsrate (ORR) defineres som antallet af deltagere, der opnår en bedste samlede respons (BOR) på bekræftet komplet respons (CR) eller bekræftet partiell respons (PR), baseret på blindet uafhængig central gennemgang (BICR) vurderinger ved hjælp af Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST 1.1), divideret med antallet af alle randomiserede deltagere.

Lungekraeft Symptom Skalaen (LCSS) er en sygdomsmåling af livskvalitet, som evaluerer seks store lungekraeftsymptomer og deres effekt på generel distress og symptom sværhedsgrad, indflydelse på daglige aktiviteter og generel livskvalitet. Dette patientrapporterede resultat (PRO) spørgeskema vurderer følgende 6 symptom emner (appetitløshed, træthed, hoste, åndenød, blodig opstød, smerte) og 3 sammendrag globale emner (symptom distress, aktivitetsniveau, generel livskvalitet) for patienter ved hjælp af visuelle analoge skalaer (VAS) (100 mm vandret linje) spændende fra 0 (bedste vurdering) til 100 (værst vurdering).
