Vergelijking van een hyperinflatiemodus en luchtstapeling bij neuromusculaire patiënten onder volumetrische ventilatie (TWOTECH)

Het doel van de studie is om de werkzaamheid en tolerantie van 2 hoesthulptechnieken te vergelijken waarvoor geen andere apparatuur nodig is dan de volumetrische ventilator. De twee methoden zijn luchtstapeling en hyperinflatie.
Het onderzoek is een Cross-over, monocentrisch en open-label onderzoek

Deelname Criteria
Onderzoekers zoeken naar mensen die aan een bepaalde beschrijving voldoen, de zogenaamde geschiktheidscriteria. Enkele voorbeelden van deze criteria zijn iemands algemene gezondheidstoestand of eerdere behandelingen.

Beschrijving
Inclusiecriteria:
- leeftijd>18 jaar, neuromusculaire ziekte,
- restrictief syndroom en/of hoest peak flow < 270.l/mn en/of maximale expiratoire druk < 40 cm HO2,
- patiënt onder niet-invasieve beademing
- stabiele toestand gedurende ten minste een maand
- schriftelijk toestemmingsformulier gegeven
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- bronchiale congestie
- hemodynamische instabiliteit
- eerdere pneumothorax of emfyseembellen
- Grote bulbaire disfunctie
- rechtsbeschermingsplan
- zwangere vrouwen of vrouwen die borstvoeding geven
- geen aansluiting bij een sociale zekerheidsregeling
