Vergelijking van antistollings- en antibloedplaatjestherapieën voor intracraniale vasculaire atherostenose - magnetische resonantiebeeldvorming (CAPTIVA-MRI)

CAPTIVA-MRI is een observationele multimodale MR-beeldvormingsstudie die aanvullend is op de CAPTIVA-studie [een 3-armige, dubbelblinde fase III-studie uitgevoerd op ongeveer 115 StrokeNet-locaties waarbij patiënten met een beroerte die voor 70-99% wordt toegeschreven aan intracraniale atherosclerotische stenose (ICAS) worden gerandomiseerd. ) naar aspirine plus ticagrelor, clopidogrel of rivaroxaban.]
Het primaire doel van deze aanvullende studie is om te bepalen of MRI-biomarkers mogelijk ICAS-patiënten kunnen identificeren die niet de beste medische behandeling ondergaan.
De CAPTIVA-MRI-studie maakt gebruik van het ontwerp en de implementatie van de CAPTIVA-studie om informatie vast te leggen die de volgende generatie ICAS-onderzoeken en het beheer van patiënten met ICAS zal informeren en vergemakkelijken.

ICAS-patiënten die recent een beroerte hebben gehad en waren ingeschreven in CAPTIVA.
Beschrijving
Inclusiecriteria:
- Inschrijving in de CAPTIVA-studie: symptomatisch ischemisch infarct zonder invaliditeit binnen 30 dagen secundair aan 70-99% stenose van de intracraniale ICA, MCA, BA of VA
- Mogelijkheid om baseline studie MRI te verkrijgen binnen 14 dagen na inschrijving bij CAPTIVA
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Geen MRI kunnen of willen ondergaan, inclusief pacemaker of andere MRI-contra-indicaties volgens de richtlijnen van het American College of Radiology62
- Gadolinium-contrastallergie of acute of chronische nierziekte met eGFR <30 ml/min/1,73 m2
