Comparación de terapias anticoagulantes y antiplaquetarias para la aterostenosis vascular intracraneal: imágenes por resonancia magnética (CAPTIVA-MRI)

CAPTIVA-MRI es un estudio observacional de imágenes por RM multimodal que es auxiliar del ensayo CAPTIVA [un ensayo de fase III doble ciego de 3 brazos realizado en aproximadamente 115 sitios de StrokeNet que aleatoriza pacientes con accidente cerebrovascular atribuido al 70-99% de estenosis aterosclerótica intracraneal (ICAS ) a aspirina más ticagrelor, clopidogrel o rivaroxaban.]
El objetivo principal de este estudio auxiliar es determinar si los biomarcadores de resonancia magnética pueden identificar potencialmente a los pacientes con ICAS que fallan en el mejor tratamiento médico.
El estudio CAPTIVA-MRI aprovecha el diseño y la implementación del ensayo CAPTIVA para capturar información que informará y facilitará la próxima generación de ensayos ICAS y el manejo de pacientes con ICAS.

Pacientes de ICAS que sufrieron un accidente cerebrovascular reciente y se inscribieron en CAPTIVA.
Descripción
Criterios de inclusión:
- Inscripción en el ensayo CAPTIVA: accidente cerebrovascular de infarto isquémico sintomático no discapacitante dentro de los 30 días secundario a estenosis del 70-99% de la ACI, MCA, BA o VA intracraneales
- Capacidad para obtener una resonancia magnética del estudio de referencia dentro de los 14 días posteriores a la inscripción en CAPTIVA
Criterio de exclusión:
- No puede o no quiere someterse a una resonancia magnética, incluido el marcapasos u otras contraindicaciones de resonancia magnética según las pautas del Colegio Americano de Radiología62
- Alergia al contraste de gadolinio o enfermedad renal aguda o crónica con FGe<30 ml/min/1,73m2
