Introdução: Estudos recentes constataram, tanto em países desenvolvidos como em desenvolvimento, ainda existe um número considerável de gestantes com deficiência de iodo. Nosso objetivo geral é monitorar o status de iodo de mulheres grávidas na China e examinar a correlação entre a concentração de iodo na urina materna (UIC) e o nível de desenvolvimento físico do recém-nascido.
Desenho: estudo de coorte prospectivo
Métodos: Durante agosto - dezembro de 2015, 250 participantes (28-32 semanas de gestação) foram selecionados para participar do estudo. Os investigadores coletaram as amostras de urina (n = 750) uma vez a cada duas semanas.
Local: Hospital Xinhua afiliado à Escola de Medicina da Universidade Jiaotong de Xangai.
Participantes: 150 gestantes normais e 100 gestantes com diabetes gestacional (28-32 semanas de gestação) e seus recém-nascidos foram selecionados para participar do estudo.

- uma história conhecida de doença da tireoide no estado não gestacional e anterior.
