Criterios de inclusión:
- Diagnóstico clínico del ictus isquémico agudo
- Elegible para trombólisis intravenosa (IVT) y IVT iniciada dentro de las 4.5 horas posteriores al inicio del accidente cerebrovascular
- Diagnóstico confirmado de oclusión persistente de la arteria carótida terminal, la arteria cerebral media (M1 o M2) o la arteria basilar compatible con los síntomas
- Edad >18 años
- Aprobación ética en proceso

Periodo de tiempo: 90 dias

La escala es una medida de uso común para medir el grado de discapacidad o dependencia en las actividades diarias de las personas que han sufrido un ictus; rango de escala 0-6; con 0 - Sin síntomas. 1 - Sin discapacidad significativa. Capaz de realizar todas las actividades habituales, a pesar de algunos síntomas. 2 - Invalidez leve. Capaz de ocuparse de sus propios asuntos sin ayuda, pero incapaz de llevar a cabo todas las actividades anteriores. 3 - Invalidez moderada. Requiere algo de ayuda, pero puede caminar sin ayuda. 4 - Invalidez moderadamente grave. Incapaz de atender sus propias necesidades corporales sin ayuda, e incapaz de caminar sin ayuda. 5 - Gran invalidez.
