Critério de inclusão:
- Diagnóstico clínico de acidente vascular cerebral isquêmico agudo
- Elegível para trombólise intravenosa (IVT) e IVT iniciada dentro de 4,5 horas após o início do AVC
- Diagnóstico confirmado de oclusão persistente da artéria carótida terminal, artéria cerebral média (M1 ou M2) ou artéria basilar consistente com sintomas
- Idade >18 anos
- Aprovação ética em processo

A escala é uma medida comumente utilizada para o grau de incapacidade ou dependência nas atividades diárias de pessoas que sofreram um acidente vascular cerebral; intervalo de escala 0-6; com 0 - Sem sintomas. 1 - Sem incapacidade significativa. Capaz de realizar todas as atividades habituais, apesar de alguns sintomas. 2 - Incapacidade leve. Capaz de cuidar de seus próprios assuntos sem ajuda, mas incapaz de realizar todas as atividades anteriores. 3 - Incapacidade moderada. Requer alguma ajuda, mas é capaz de andar sem ajuda. 4 - Incapacidade moderadamente grave. Incapaz de atender às próprias necessidades corporais sem ajuda e incapaz de andar sem ajuda. 5 - Incapacidade grave.
