この研究の目的は、低線量の化学療法やホルモン療法と組み合わせた陽子線放射線が、良い影響も悪い影響も含めて、患者とそのがんにどのような影響を与えるかを確認することです。

* 前立腺の腺癌。
除外基準:
- 化学療法および/または骨盤放射線照射などの前立腺がん治療歴がある。
- 直腸に影響を及ぼす活動性の炎症性腸疾患(憩室炎、クローン病、または潰瘍性大腸炎)。 (直腸に影響を与えない非活動性憩室炎およびクローン病は許可されます。)
- 人工股関節置換術の歴史。
- 以前の骨盤内手術。 これには次のものが含まれます。
- ポリープ切除術または痔核の除去またはバンディング以外の経直腸または直腸の手術
- 経腹骨盤手術
- 膀胱手術
- 心筋梗塞(MI)またはうっ血性心不全(CHF)の既往歴。
- ノコギリヤシまたはメトトレキサートを服用していて、放射線照射中にその使用を中止できない、または中止したくない。

+ リンパ節 (LN) のリスクが 15% 未満
|
前立腺 + 精嚢 (SV) への 30 回の治療で合計 54 コバルト グレー当量 (CGE)、その後、前立腺 +/- SV への 13 ~ 15 回の治療で合計 23.4 ~ 27 CGE の陽子線ブースト。
放射線療法(RT)中は毎週低用量のドセタキセルを投与し、その後6か月間アンドロゲン除去療法を行う。

|
前立腺 + SV + LN に対して 25 回の治療で合計 45 Gy を照射し、その後、前立腺 + SV に対して 18 ~ 20 回の治療で合計 32.4 ~ 36 CGE の陽子線ブースト。
RT中に毎週低用量のドセタキセルを投与し、その後6か月間アンドロゲン除去療法を行う。
