Inclusiecriteria:

  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) prestatiestatus ≤1
  • Lokaal gevorderd stadium IIIA, IIIB of IIIC (T1-2 N2-3 M0, T3 N1-3 M0 of T4 N0-3 M0) pathologisch bevestigde NSCLC, volgens de 8e TNM-classificatie. Deelnemers die niet zijn ingepland voor mogelijke curatieve chirurgische resectie komen in aanmerking.
  • Nieuw gediagnosticeerd en therapienaïef, zonder voorafgaande lokale of systemische antikankertherapie gegeven als primaire therapie voor lokaal gevorderde ziekte

Uitsluitingscriteria:

  • Elke aandoening, inclusief medische, emotionele, psychiatrische of logistieke aandoening die, naar de mening van de onderzoeker, de deelnemer ervan zou weerhouden zich aan het protocol te houden of die het risico van deelname aan de studie zou vergroten
  • Actieve infectie die systemische therapie vereist binnen 14 dagen voorafgaand aan randomisatie
  • Geschiedenis van orgaan- of weefseltransplantatie waarvoor systemisch gebruik van immuunonderdrukkende middelen nodig is
  • Voorafgaande thoracale radiotherapie
