Impacto das Manifestações Sistêmicas/Comorbidades no Estado Clínico, Prognóstico e Utilização de Recursos de Saúde em Pacientes com DPOC
O objetivo deste estudo é determinar a prevalência e gravidade dos distúrbios extrapulmonares e quantificar o impacto das manifestações de órgãos extrapulmonares na morbidade e mortalidade de pacientes com DPOC.
Além disso, os investigadores avaliam a relação entre inflamação sistêmica e envolvimento de órgãos.

As doenças crônicas e comorbidades têm um impacto crescente na vida individual e no uso de cuidados de saúde, como exemplificado na doença pulmonar obstrutiva crônica (DPOC).
Atualmente, faltam bases de dados independentes e abrangentes que permitam uma visão integrada.
O estudo estabelecerá pela primeira vez um banco de dados longitudinal amplo e abrangente, cobrindo um amplo painel de comorbidades e marcadores de alterações sistêmicas.
Esses dados serão de valor único para revelar fenótipos específicos de DPOC por meio de padrões e perfis de risco de comorbidades, permitindo um diagnóstico mais preciso e direcionamento da terapia e uma alocação eficiente de recursos.

Critério de inclusão:
- com 40 anos ou mais
- diagnóstico de DPOC (GOLD-Criteria) ou bronquite crônica
- consentimento informado
- disponível para visitas de estudo repetidas a partir de 18 meses
Critério de exclusão:
- ter sido submetido a uma grande cirurgia pulmonar (p. redução pulmonar, transplante pulmonar)
- Exacerbação moderada ou grave nas últimas 4 semanas
- tendo um tumor de pulmão
- Incapaz de andar ou entender a intenção do projeto

O BODE-Score compreende IMC, obstrução das vias aéreas, dispnéia e capacidade de exercício e é um bom preditor de morte em pacientes com DPOC.
A progressão é definida como uma alteração na pontuação do BODE em >=1 ponto durante o período de observação.
