METODOLOGÍA E INTERVENCIONES: LOS PACIENTES SE ALEATORIZAN EN UNA RELACIÓN 1:1 EN DOS GRUPOS DE TRATAMIENTO:

GRUPO IO: DURANTE EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE AMPUTACIÓN, SE ADMINISTRAN 500 MG DE VANCOMICINA POR VÍA INTRAÓSEA DIRECTAMENTE EN EL LUGAR DE LA AMPUTACIÓN.

GRUPO IV: LOS PACIENTES RECIBEN 500 MG DE VANCOMICINA POR VÍA INTRAVENOSA 15-30 MINUTOS ANTES DE LA INCISIÓN QUIRÚRGICA.

PACIENTES DE 18 AÑOS O MÁS. DIAGNOSTICADOS CON DIABETES MELLITUS TIPO 1 O TIPO 2. PROGRAMADOS PARA AMPUTACIÓN TRANSTIBIAL (POR DEBAJO DE LA RODILLA) DEBIDO A INFECCIÓN DEL PIE DIABÉTICO.
