상세 설명
헌팅턴병(HD)은 환자와 그 가족의 삶을 황폐화시키는 천천히 진행되는 장애입니다. 헌팅턴병의 진행을 늦추는 치료법은 없으며 약간의 효과가 있는 대증 요법만 가능합니다.
이 시험의 목적은 코엔자임 Q10(CoQ)이 HD의 악화되는 증상을 늦추는 데 효과적인지 알아내는 것입니다. 이 연구에서 연구자들은 또한 HD 환자에 대한 CoQ의 효과를 확인하여 장기 CoQ 사용의 안전성과 수용 가능성에 대해 알아볼 것입니다.

- 피험자는 HD의 임상적 특징과 HD의 확인된 가족력이 있거나 CAG 반복 확장 ≥ 36이어야 합니다.
- TFC > 9.
- 보행이 가능해야 하며 전문 간호가 필요하지 않습니다.
- 연령 ≥ 16세.
- 여성은 임신할 수 없어야 합니다(예: 폐경 후, 외과적 불임 또는 연구 기간 동안 적절한 피임 방법 사용).
- 향정신성 약물(예: 항불안제, 최면제, 벤조디아제핀, 항우울제)을 복용하는 경우 무작위 배정 전 4주 동안 안정적인 용량이어야 하며 가능한 한 연구 내내 일정한 용량을 유지해야 합니다. (참고: 테트라베나진의 안정적인 투여가 허용됩니다.) 임상 조건에 따라 이러한 약물에 대한 모든 변경 사항은 체계적으로 기록되며 피험자는 시험에 남아 있도록 허용됩니다.
