Verbeteringen aan moeders en baby's zijn gerechtvaardigd om de geestelijke gezondheid van beide ouders aan te pakken, via het huisbezoekservicemodel, waarbij veel van de meest risicovolle gezinnen relaties aangaan tussen leverancier en klant tijdens de kindertijd en vroege kinderjaren van hun kind.
Eerdere preventieve interventies voor postpartumdepressie - waaronder MB - hebben verzuimd om in te grijpen bij partners van zwangere vrouwen, ondanks de groeiende erkenning dat vaderlijke depressie ook invloed uitoefent op de sociaal-emotionele ontwikkeling van kinderen en in een vergelijkbaar tijdsbestek optreedt. Bij een verder succesvolle interventie kunnen deze beperkingen - gemengd succes bij het verbeteren van veronderstelde interventiemechanismen en beperkte betrokkenheid van vaders - dus de effectiviteit van de interventie verminderen. Er wordt verondersteld dat vaderlijke depressie de relatie bemiddelt tussen MB-modules en de resultaten van de geestelijke gezondheid van de moeder.
Deze studie pakt deze beperking aan. De onderzoekers zullen samenwerken met 10-12 huisbezoekprogramma's (HV) die voornamelijk gezinnen met lage inkomens dienen. De onderzoekers zullen 24 moeder-vaderparen rekruteren voor een ongecontroleerde pilot waarin moeders MB-TXT krijgen en vaders FAB, een pilotcurriculum dat is ontwikkeld op basis van bestaand materiaal en gegevens die zijn verzameld via kwalitatief onderzoek met huisbezoekende klanten, hun partners en huisbezoekers. bezoekend personeel.
Doel 1. Het ontwikkelen en bepalen van de haalbaarheid en aanvaardbaarheid van a) het uitvoeren van het MB-DAD-interventieprotocol en b) het beoordelen van vaderlijke en dyadische resultaten in twee huisbezoekprogramma's. Experimenteel: FAB-pilotstudie (vader/mannelijke deelnemers)
Vaders (mannelijke partners) kregen Fathers and Babies (FAB). FAB is een interventie van 12 sessies met inhoud die de inhoud weerspiegelt die in MB wordt gevonden, maar waarbij de vader centraal staat. De eerste FAB-sessie werd persoonlijk of telefonisch gegeven door de huisbezoeker die met de moeder samenwerkte, en duurde gemiddeld 30 minuten. Daaropvolgende sessies werden persoonlijk afgeleverd via sms met ingesloten links naar online inhoud, of een combinatie van zowel persoonlijke als sms-berichten, afhankelijk van de voorkeur en beschikbaarheid van de vader. Vaders ontvingen drie tot zes sms'jes per FAB-sessie. |

Experimenteel: MB 1-op-1 plus TEKST (moeder/vrouwelijke deelnemers)
Huisbezoekcliënten ontvingen de Moeders en Baby's met -SMS-interventie persoonlijk tijdens reguliere geplande huisbezoeken (d.w.z. MB 1-op-1 plus MB-TXT), terwijl haar partner Vaders en Baby's tegelijkertijd ontving.
MB 1-op-1 is 12 sessies en is een postpartum depressie preventieve interventie.
MB omvat een inleidende module gevolgd door drie modules van cognitieve gedragstherapie: (1) plezierige activiteiten, (2) gedachten en (3) contact met anderen.
Na elke persoonlijke sessie ontvangen huisbezoekcliënten drie berichten om het oefenen van vaardigheden te versterken en hen te herinneren aan hun persoonlijke projecten.

Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) (Beck et al., 1988). De BDI-II werd gebruikt om de ernst van depressieve symptomen te beoordelen in overeenstemming met de symptoomcriteria van de DSM-IV. Vragenlijst over effectiviteit van sociale ondersteuning (SSE-Q) (Rini et al., 2011).
De SSE-Q is een enquête met 25 items waarin respondenten wordt gevraagd aan te geven in hoeverre hun partners de afgelopen drie maanden verschillende soorten ondersteuning hebben geboden.
De SSE-Q bestaat uit subschalen over taakondersteuning, informatieve ondersteuning, emotionele ondersteuning en negatieve effecten van ondersteuning.
Voor deze studie berekenden we een totale sociale steunscore die deze vier subschalen optelde (bereik 0-80).
Hoge scores duiden op een effectievere ondersteuning.
Scores op volledige schaal kunnen variëren van 0 tot 80, en elke subschaal kan variëren van 0 tot 20.
