Observationele studie van het gebruik van 8% capsaïcinepleister bij kinderen van 0 tot 18 jaar

Patiënten jonger dan 18 jaar met een gevalideerde behandeling met 8% capsaïcine-pleisters in de reguliere gezondheidszorg zullen worden aangeboden om deel te nemen aan het onderzoek. Als zij het net zo accepteren als hun ouders, worden ze in het onderzoek opgenomen.

Medische gegevens worden geregistreerd en thuis verzamelt het kind of zijn gezin pijnbeoordelingsgegevens.

Tolerantie zal thuis elke 24 uur worden gecontroleerd door een telefoontje van het onderzoeksteam tot normalisatie. (Minder dan 24 uur voor 75%, 100% tot 72 uur voor niet-gepubliceerde persoonlijke series.) Kinderen worden beoordeeld via schalen bij inclusie en 1 maand, 3 maand en 6 maand.

Kinderen en tieners jonger dan 18 jaar met chronische gelokaliseerde neuropathische pijn kunnen worden behandeld met capsaïcine 8% pleisters. Als deze indicatie gevalideerd wordt in de consultatie voor chronische pijn bij kinderen, zullen ze worden aangeboden om deel te nemen aan de studie. Als zij het net zo accepteren als hun ouders, worden ze in het onderzoek opgenomen.

De toepassing van de behandeling zal de aanbevelingen volgen en worden gerealiseerd in onze patiëntenkliniek met getrainde verpleegkundigen.

Tolerantie zal elke 24 uur telefonisch worden beoordeeld door het onderzoeksteam tot normalisatie. De verwachte duur is minder dan 24 uur voor 75% van de patiënten en 100% na 72 uur, op basis van niet-gepubliceerde persoonlijke gegevens.

De werkzaamheid zal één maand na toepassing worden gecontroleerd met de gebruikelijke hulpmiddelen voor pijn en neuropathische pijn, aangepast aan leeftijd en cognitieve capaciteiten.

De behandeling kan indien nodig driemaal worden uitgevoerd met een interval van drie maanden tussen elke toepassing van een capsaïcinepleister.
