Voorspellingsmodellen voor risicoscore en prognose van intraoperatief verworven decubitusletsel bij chirurgische patiënten: een prospectief cohortonderzoek in meerdere centra
Het onderzoek heeft tot doel het risico op intraoperatief verworven drukletsels (IAPI) bij chirurgische patiënten effectief te identificeren via een prospectieve multicentrische aanpak. Het combineert indicatoren uit veelgebruikte beoordelingsinstrumenten en beoordelingen uit praktijkervaringen om een alomvattend beoordelingskader te construeren.
Door verschillende indicatoren te integreren, wil het onderzoek de nauwkeurigheid en betrouwbaarheid verbeteren van het identificeren van patiënten die risico lopen op IAPI tijdens operaties. Dit zal artsen helpen bij het nemen van weloverwogen beslissingen en het implementeren van preventieve maatregelen om het optreden van decubitus tot een minimum te beperken.
De multicenterbenadering zorgt voor een diverse en representatieve steekproef van patiënten uit verschillende chirurgische settings. Dit vergroot de generaliseerbaarheid van de onderzoeksresultaten en verbetert de toepasbaarheid van het beoordelingskader in verschillende klinische settings.
De methodologie van het project omvat het verzamelen van gegevens over demografische gegevens van patiënten, medische geschiedenis, details van chirurgische procedures en scores van beoordelingsinstrumenten. Deze datapunten zullen worden geanalyseerd om significante risicofactoren voor IAPI te identificeren en een risicovoorspellingsmodel te ontwikkelen.
De studie houdt ook rekening met oordelen uit de praktijk, die het belang van klinische expertise bij het beoordelen van het risico op IAPI bij patiënten erkennen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het beoordelingskader niet alleen afhankelijk is van beoordelingsinstrumenten, maar ook de inzichten van ervaren clinici omvat.
Over het geheel genomen heeft dit prospectieve multicentrische onderzoek tot doel een bijdrage te leveren aan het veld door een alomvattende en praktische aanpak te bieden om het risico op IAPI bij chirurgische patiënten te identificeren. De bevindingen uit dit onderzoek kunnen in de klinische praktijk worden gebruikt om de patiëntresultaten te verbeteren en de incidentie van decubitus tijdens operaties te verminderen.

Inclusiecriteria: Alle patiënten die na de onderzoeksregistratie een operatieprocedure ondergingen in de deelnemende setting.
Exclusiecriteria: Patiënten bij wie al de diagnose decubitus (stadium II en hoger) is gesteld voordat ze een chirurgische ingreep ondergaan. Patiënten/familieleden/verzorgers begrijpen de weigering om gegevens te gebruiken voor klinisch relevant onderzoek. Onderzoekers zijn van mening dat bepaalde patiëntaandoeningen de beoordeling van de werkzaamheid en veiligheid van dit onderzoek kunnen beïnvloeden.

Intraoperatief verworven decubitus
Intraoperatief verworven decubitusletsel zijn wonden die ontstaan tijdens een chirurgische ingreep of terwijl een patiënt zich in de operatiekamer bevindt.
Deze zweren worden veroorzaakt door langdurige druk op een specifiek deel van het lichaam, waardoor de bloedstroom wordt verminderd en tot weefselbeschadiging leidt.

Een chirurgische ingreep in een operatiekamer is een medische ingreep waarbij incisies worden gemaakt of minimaal invasieve technieken worden gebruikt om een specifieke aandoening te behandelen of een diagnostische procedure uit te voeren.
De operatiekamer, ook wel operatiekamer of operatiekamer genoemd, is een steriele omgeving die speciaal is ontworpen om het risico op infectie te minimaliseren en de veiligheid van zowel de patiënt als het chirurgische team te garanderen.
