Efeito dos Abdutores do Quadril versus Fortalecimento dos Extensores do Joelho na Dor, Função e Força Isométrica do Quadríceps na Osteoartrite do Joelho
Este estudo tentará responder à seguinte questão:
O fortalecimento dos abdutores do quadril seria igual ou mais eficaz do que o fortalecimento dos extensores do joelho na melhora da dor, função e força isométrica dos extensores do joelho em pacientes com osteoartrite de joelho
Visão geral do estudo
Descrição detalhada
Serão recrutados 70 pacientes com osteoartrite de joelho. Todos os pacientes que participarão do estudo serão encaminhados por ortopedistas. Os pacientes com osteoartrite do joelho serão incluídos com faixas etárias de 50 a 70 anos. Eles serão randomizados em 2 grupos; o grupo de fortalecimento dos abdutores do quadril (HAS) receberá exercícios de fortalecimento dos abdutores do quadril, e o grupo de fortalecimento dos extensores do joelho (KES) receberá exercícios de fortalecimento do quadríceps.
Todos os pacientes que atenderem aos critérios do estudo terão um conhecimento completo dos objetivos e procedimentos do estudo.
Critério de inclusão:
- Pacientes com osteoartrite de joelho graus II-III Kellgren-Lawrence
- A idade deles é de 50 a 70 anos [Wang et al., 2019].
- Índice de massa corporal (IMC) 25-30.
Critério de exclusão:
- Pacientes que tiveram intervenção cirúrgica no joelho e/ou quadril.
- Fratura nos membros inferiores.
- Malignidade
- Qualquer lesão ligamentar associada no joelho ou tornozelo.
- Lesão da medula espinal.
- Desequilíbrio hormonal ou em terapia hormonal
- Injeção no joelho nos últimos 6 meses antes do estudo. Parâmetros de resultado, incluindo força muscular do quadríceps, a versão árabe do questionário de Índice de Artrite das Universidades de Western Ontario e McMaster e pontuação total e 3 subescalas e pontuação do teste Timed Up and Go
