L'obiettivo principale di questo studio è determinare se l'integrazione orale di citrullina, se combinata con HIIT, può produrre cambiamenti significativi nella composizione corporea, nella qualità muscolare, nel metabolismo muscolare e nella capacità funzionale negli uomini e nelle donne obesi anziani.
I ricercatori ipotizzano che la citrullina combinata con HIIT sarà più vantaggiosa del solo HIIT, che sarà più vantaggioso della sola citrullina, che sarà più vantaggiosa del solo placebo negli uomini e nelle donne anziani obesi.

Descrizione dettagliata
La citrullina è un amminoacido non proteico, isolato dall'anguria, coinvolto nel ciclo dell'urea e precursore dell'arginina. I partecipanti assumeranno 10 g / giorno di citrullina o placebo (isocalorico).
L'allenamento a intervalli ad alta intensità (HIIT) è un allenamento aerobico ad alta intensità (30 secondi all'85% e oltre della FCmax + 1 minuto e 30 al 65-70% della FCmax). la loro durata HIIT è di 30 min/sessione. HIIT è riconosciuto come utile per migliorare la salute umana come Vo2max, grasso corporeo o.
Quindi l'intervento sarà seguito per 12 settimane consecutive.

Descrizione
Criterio di inclusione:
- autonomo (essere in grado di seguire il programma di esercizi) e senza compromissione cognitiva (test MOCA ≥21);
- stato di obesità (BMI tra 30 e 40 kg/m2 o circonferenza vita superiore a 102 cm per gli uomini e 88 cm per le donne o massa grassa (%; totale o androide o ginoide) uguale o superiore al 27% negli uomini e al 40% negli donne;
- peso stabile (± 5 kg) per 6 mesi;
- non fumatori e bevitori moderati (max: 15 g/giorno di alcol);
- senza ictus o storia di ictus;
- sedentarietà (meno di 2 ore di attività fisica strutturata a settimana);
- non essere coinvolto in un vigoroso programma di esercizi per almeno 12 mesi;
- può capire il francese
- donne in postmenopausa (senza mestruazioni da 60 mesi consecutivi).
Criteri di esclusione:
- avere un impianto metallico (pacemaker);
- asma che richiede un trattamento orale con steroidi;
- assunzione di altri farmaci che potrebbero influenzare il metabolismo o la funzione cardiovascolare;
- assunzione di farmaci anticoagulanti.
- assunzione di terapia ormonale sostitutiva (solo per le donne)

I partecipanti che saranno randomizzati nel primo braccio saranno divisi in citrullina più HIIT (CIT + HIIT o gruppo A) o solo citrullina (CIT o gruppo B).

Dodici settimane di integrazione orale di citrullina saranno assunte dalla metà dei partecipanti (altri sono presi un placebo).
L'integrazione di citrullina sarà assunta per via orale.
Dieci grammi di citrullina (polvere bianca) saranno mescolati giornalmente con un liquido.
L'integrazione verrà consumata una volta all'ora di pranzo.
Nessun programma di esercizi sarà assegnato ai partecipanti.

PLACEBO_COMPARATORE: Placebo
I partecipanti che saranno randomizzati nel secondo braccio saranno divisi in placebo più HIIT (PLA + HIIT o gruppo C) o solo placebo (PLA o gruppo D).

Dodici settimane di placebo orale saranno prese dalla metà dei partecipanti.
Dieci grammi di placebo (polvere bianca di maltodestrina) saranno miscelati con un liquido e saranno consumati una volta al giorno all'ora di pranzo.

SPERIMENTALE: Esercizio
Il partecipante che verrà randomizzato in questo braccio avrà un programma di esercizi (HIIT) aggiunto al rispettivo integratore alimentare.

Dodici settimane di integrazione orale di citrullina saranno assunte dalla metà dei partecipanti (altri sono presi un placebo).
L'integrazione di citrullina sarà assunta per via orale.
Dieci grammi di citrullina (polvere bianca) saranno mescolati giornalmente con un liquido.
L'integrazione verrà consumata una volta all'ora di pranzo.
I partecipanti prenderanno anche parte a dodici settimane di HIIT (30s all'85% e oltre della frequenza cardiaca massima + 1m30sec al 60-75% della frequenza cardiaca massima (FC max).
3 volte/settimana per 30 minuti continui.
Ogni periodo è supervisionato e monitorato utilizzando la scala borg e il sistema polare.
