- 標準的なスクリーニングツールと比較して、ED RDDT は退院後 60 日以内の病院の再利用 (ED 受診、入院、または死亡) を削減します。
- ED RDDT は、メディケア、病院、患者のコストを削減します。

研究の概要 - この研究の包括的な目的は、障害診断ツールを修正してテストすることにより、救急外来を受診する患者の健康転帰を改善することです。
研究者らは、より正確で正確なツールが ED 患者の退院計画と紹介を改善し、罹患率と死亡率を減らし、不必要な通院と費用を削減することを期待しています。
研究者らは、障害、救急医療、高齢者医療の専門家と実践者からなる研究チームから、表面上(論理的)妥当性を備えた中核となる指標セットを開発します。
これらの専門家は、どの情報を含める必要があるかを選択し、選択した情報をコンテンツ領域にグループ化します。
各コンテンツ領域には、同じ一次元の概念を測定する情報が含まれます。
研究者らは一連のラッシュ分析を行って、どの情報セットが実際に一次元であり、使用可能な尺度を形成しているかを確立します。
研究者らは、この予備バージョンの RDDT を既存の病院データに基づいて、健康転帰の予測に使用することでその妥当性をテストします。
