Effecten van logopedie bij hypertensieve patiënten
Spraakgestuurde ademhaling: een modaliteit om cardiovasculaire regulatie en gezondheidsperceptie bij hypertensieve patiënten te beïnvloeden?

In dit prospectieve, voornamelijk pre-post onderzoek kregen patiënten drie ATS-behandelingen afgewisseld met drie controlesessies (vrijblijvend praten met de therapeut). Om HRV-analyse en BRS-bepaling uit te voeren, werden tijdens de sessies continu de bloeddruk en het ECG opgenomen. Veranderingen in subjectief welbevinden en ervaren gezondheid werden voor en na de verschillende sessies beoordeeld door middel van vragenlijsten (stemmingsenquête).
Eenendertig patiënten namen deel aan deze studie, bij de meerderheid werd arteriële hypertensie vastgesteld (22 van de 31).

Beschrijving
Inclusiecriteria:
- Indicatie voor logopedie
- Logopedie willen en kunnen uitvoeren
- Ambulante behandeling of geplande ziekenhuisopname van minimaal 14 dagen.
- Gediagnosticeerd met hypertensie (I 10, ofwel onder medicamenteuze behandeling of geverifieerd door 24-uurs bloeddrukmetingen), met spanningshoofdpijn (G 44.2) of met angst (F 41) bevestigd door de aanwervende arts
- Geen verandering in de medicatie die de HRV beïnvloedt gedurende de laatste 2 maanden voor en tijdens het onderzoek
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Comorbiditeit heeft een sterke invloed op HRV
- Te zwak om deel te nemen aan een actieve therapie
- Pacemaker
- Huidziekte of allergieën die het gebruik van ECG-elektroden verhinderen

EXPERIMENTEEL: Hypertensief
Patiënten gediagnosticeerd met hypertensie (110, ofwel op medicamenteuze therapie of geverifieerd door 24-uurs bloeddrukmetingen) toegediend aan antroposofische logopedie (interventie).

Antroposofische logopedie gebruikt klankcombinaties zoals "KLSFM" of "OM" en hexametervers in het Duits, gesproken door de therapeut en nagebootst door de patiënten, om de ademhaling uit te breiden en te vertragen.
De interventie wordt uitgevoerd door dezelfde gekwalificeerde therapeut voor één patiënt op verschillende dagen, maar gedurende dezelfde dag gedurende 30 minuten in rechtopstaande positie en lopend.
