脑室内出血 (IVH) 或大脑出血仍然是早产儿的主要问题。 这项随机、安慰剂对照的多中心试验招募了 505 名出生体重在 600 至 1250 克之间的婴儿,以确定吲哚美辛是否能降低 IVH 的发生率,并招募了 125 名足月婴儿作为对照。 在此纵向试验期间,在 3 岁、4 1/2 岁、6 岁、8 岁、12 岁和 16 岁时进行了后续评估。 3 岁时的初步结果表明,除了降低 IVH 之外,吲哚美辛组没有任何优势,但是,结果确实显示“安慰剂”组的脑室扩张显着增加。 在 4 1/2、6 和 8 岁时的结果表明,吲哚美辛对认知和行为结果的有益作用超过了预防 IVH 的作用,但在以后的年龄则不然。 在 12 岁和 16 岁时,未发现吲哚美辛对认知结果有显着影响。
当早产受试者为 8 岁时,添加年龄、性别和邮政编码匹配的对照受试者。 在所有后续测试中,术语控制具有更高的智商和皮博迪图片词汇分数。
额外的纵向体积、功能和弥散张量 MR 成像研究显示 8、12 和 16 岁的早产和足月对照受试者之间存在差异。 与足月对照组相比,这些与早产组的右半球和左小脑用于语言的利用一致。 未见吲哚美辛的作用。
