NICHD Neonatal Research Network のフォローアップ研究は多施設コホート研究であり、生き残った超低出生体重児が生後 22 ~ 26 か月の修正月齢で神経発達、神経感覚、および機能評価を受ける (2012 年 7 月 1 日より前に生まれた乳児は、 18 ~ 22 か月の補正年齢で)。 この研究の目的は、乳児の神経発達に影響を与える可能性のある潜在的な母親と新生児の危険因子を特定することです。
- 運動能力、認知能力、言語および行動の発達の評価
- 死亡率と特定の病状の有病率の決定
- 成長と神経発達転帰との関係の評価
- 社会経済的地位と発達成果の関係の評価
- この集団による特別支援サービスと早期介入プログラムの利用の評価
- 学齢期におけるフォローアップの必要性を評価する。
スケジュールされた評価では、次の情報が収集されます。人口統計情報。社会経済的地位;病歴;薬;医療機器が必要です。成長データ;詳細な神経学的検査; Bayley Scales of Infant Development (精神、運動、幼児行動);子供の行動チェックリスト。
サブスタディでは、次の 3 つの目的を満たすために、ネットワーク センターで生まれた限られた数の健康な満期産児で構成される参照グループを評価します。 2) ベイリー スケールの十分に発達した規範がない場合、私たちのセンターで正期産の健康な子供の代表的なサンプルのデータに基づいて機能障害のしきい値を定義し、同時に私たちの最高評価と同じ検査官によって評価されます。リスク乳児; 3) ベイリー評価の実施と採点において、時間の経過とともに「ドリフト」がいつ発生するかを特定して対処するのに役立ちます。

- NRNセンターで生まれた乳児
- 妊娠27週未満
- -1つ以上の追加のNICHD NRNフォローアップ研究に登録された乳児。 上記の選択基準を満たさない乳児の場合、追加の試験の基準によって、選択基準と除外基準が決定されます。 このような場合、体重が 1,000 グラムを超える乳児および/または生後 27 週を超える乳児が FU 研究に含まれる場合があります。
注: これらの包含基準は 2008 年 1 月 1 日に変更されました。 この日付以前は、生後 14 日以内に NRN NICU に入院した、出生時体重が 401 から 1500 グラムの乳児がデータベースに含まれていました。
