Description détaillée
De nombreux patients atteints de myélome multiple reçoivent 2 greffes de cellules souches à quelques mois d'intervalle dans le cadre de leur traitement. Habituellement, le médicament Melphalan est utilisé pour les deux greffes.
Le bortézomib est un médicament utilisé pour traiter le myélome multiple et a été utilisé en association avec le melphalan pour la greffe de cellules souches chez les patients atteints de myélome multiple.
Le but de cet essai est d'étudier les effets de la réalisation de 2 greffes, la première avec du melphalan et la seconde avec du melphalan et du bortézomib. L'essai vise à savoir si l'ajout du bortézomib à la deuxième greffe augmentera les chances de rester en rémission plus longtemps.

- Diagnostic confirmé de myélome multiple avec Durie-Salmon stade I, II ou III ou ISS stade I, II ou III, moins de 12 mois depuis le début du traitement systémique
- ≥8x106 cellules CD34+/kg disponibles en cryoconservation en aliquots appropriés pour les greffes en tandem
- Âge : 18-75 ans au moment de la greffe
- KPS 70-100%
- Récupération des complications des traitements antérieurs
- Sexe : Il n'y a pas de restriction de sexe
Critère d'exclusion:
- Diagnostic autre que le myélome multiple
- Chimiothérapie ou radiothérapie dans les 8 jours suivant le début du traitement dans cette étude
- Transplantation autologue ou allogénique antérieure (sauf en tant qu'inscrit dans cette étude)
- Infections bactériennes, virales, fongiques ou parasitaires non contrôlées
