Detaillierte Beschreibung
Viele Patienten mit multiplem Myelom erhalten im Rahmen ihrer Behandlung innerhalb weniger Monate zwei Stammzelltransplantationen. Üblicherweise wird für beide Transplantationen das Medikament Melphalan verwendet.
Bortezomib ist ein Medikament, das zur Behandlung des multiplen Myeloms eingesetzt wird und in Kombination mit Melphalan zur Stammzelltransplantation bei Patienten mit multiplem Myelom eingesetzt wurde.
Der Zweck dieser Studie ist es, die Auswirkungen von 2 Transplantationen zu untersuchen, zuerst mit Melphalan und zweitens mit Melphalan und Bortezomib. Die Studie zielt darauf ab, herauszufinden, ob die Zugabe von Bortezomib zur zweiten Transplantation die Chancen erhöht, länger in Remission zu bleiben.

- Bestätigte Diagnose eines multiplen Myeloms entweder im Durie-Salmon-Stadium I, II oder III oder im ISS-Stadium I, II oder III, weniger als 12 Monate seit Beginn der systemischen Therapie
- ≥8 x 106 CD34+-Zellen/kg verfügbar in Kryokonservierung in für Tandemtransplantationen geeigneten Aliquots
- Alter: 18-75 Jahre zum Zeitpunkt der Transplantation
- KPS 70-100 %
- Genesung von Komplikationen früherer Therapien
- Geschlecht: Es gibt keine Geschlechtsbeschränkung
Ausschlusskriterien:
- Andere Diagnose als multiples Myelom
- Chemotherapie oder Strahlentherapie innerhalb von 8 Tagen nach Beginn der Behandlung in dieser Studie
- Vorherige autologe oder allogene Transplantation (sofern nicht in diese Studie aufgenommen)
- Unkontrollierte bakterielle, virale, Pilz- oder Parasiteninfektionen
