在语义领域,结构捕获不同语义特征或概念(例如,绿色、翅膀、会飞)之间的关联,并且已知会影响语义知识的发展和退化。
我们最近发现,人类发现更容易学习包含可靠共现特征簇的新类别,揭示了结构对新类别形成的影响。
然而,一个关键的未知数是学习到的结构表示是否与特定类别的元素紧密相关,或者它们是否在某种程度上变得抽象,从经验特征转变而来。
此外,如果确实出现了抽象结构表示,之前的工作提供了有趣的暗示,表明它们可能需要在清醒休息或睡眠期间进行离线整合。
我们开发了一种范例,其中精心设计的图结构控制各个类别中特征共现的模式。
在这里,我们实施了该范例的“结构转移”扩展,以确定学习一个结构化类别是否有助于学习由一组新特征定义的第二个相同结构化类别。
这种促进将提供结构表示在某种程度上是抽象的证据。
