学習と睡眠を横断する抽象構造知識の出現
与えられた認知ドメインでは、個々の要素の表現は独立していませんが、構造化された関係によって編成されています。
この基礎となる構造の表現は、新しい環境での一般化と推論を可能にするため、強力です。
セマンティック ドメインでは、構造は異なるセマンティック フィーチャまたはコンセプト (たとえば、緑、翼、飛ぶことができる) 間の関連付けをキャプチャし、セマンティック知識の発達と劣化に影響を与えることが知られています。
最近、人間は確実に共起する機能のクラスターを含む新しいカテゴリを学習する方が簡単であることがわかり、新しいカテゴリ形成に対する構造の影響が明らかになりました。
ただし、重要な未知数は、構造の学習された表現がカテゴリ固有の要素と密接に結びついているかどうか、または経験された機能から離れて変換されて、ある程度抽象化されているかどうかです。
さらに、抽象的な構造表現が出現した場合、以前の研究は、覚醒中または睡眠中にオフラインの統合が必要になる可能性があるという興味深いヒントを提供します。
私たちは、慎重に設計されたグラフ構造が個々のカテゴリ内の特徴共起のパターンを管理するパラダイムを開発しました。
ここでは、このパラダイムの「構造転送」拡張を実装して、1 つの構造化されたカテゴリを学習することが、新しい機能セットによって定義される 2 番目の同じ構造化されたカテゴリの学習を促進するかどうかを判断します。
この促進は、構造表現がある程度抽象的であるという証拠を提供します。
目的 1 では、これらの方法を使用して、学習中に抽象的な構造表現がすぐに現れるかどうかを評価します。
目的 2 では、これらの表現が遅れて持続または出現するかどうか、特に睡眠ベースの統合が必要かどうかを判断します。
睡眠中の最近の経験の再生の役割は、脳波検査 (EEG) と閉ループの対象記憶再活性化 (TMR) を組み合わせて評価されます。これは、人間の最近学習した情報の統合に対する因果的影響を可能にする技術です。
