在先前未经治疗的推定患有药物敏感肺结核和/或外周淋巴结结核的个体中,接受利福喷丁、异烟肼、吡嗪酰胺和莫西沙星 (2HPZM) 治疗八周(全程每天给药),未治愈的参与者比例(不成功结果)不会逊色于接受标准治疗方案(八周利福平、异烟肼、吡嗪酰胺,加或不加乙胺丁醇,然后根据疾病严重程度,利福平加异烟肼 8 至 16 周)的参与者中观察到的结果,全部每天给药。

- 入学时年龄小于10岁。
- 入场时体重为 3 公斤 (kg) 或以上。
入境时诊断患有结核病,定义为:
- 经或未经细菌学证实的肺部(包括胸腔积液)和/或淋巴结(胸外和/或胸内)结核;
- 临床医生决定采用标准一线药物敏感结核病治疗方案进行治疗。
- 已知的 HIV 状况或根据满足检测要求正在进行的 HIV 检测。
在入境后 14 天内(包括最近一次)进行的以下所有测试均具有正常的 1 级或 2 级测试结果:
- 丙氨酸氨基转移酶(ALT)小于或等于正常上限的5倍;
- 总胆红素小于或等于正常上限的2.5倍;
- 钾含量为 3.0 毫当量/升或更高;
- 血红蛋白水平为 7.0 g/dL 或更高;
- 血小板计数为 100,000/mm3 或更高;
- 估计肾小球滤过率(eGFR;床边 Schwartz 公式)60 mL/min/1.73m2 或更高。
对于感染艾滋病毒的儿童:
- 入职时接受抗逆转录病毒治疗 (ART):在入职时或之前必须接受或能够改用基于多替拉韦的治疗方案;
- 入组时未接受 ART:计划在研究第 4 周之前或研究时开始使用多替拉韦。
- 对于已初潮或正在进行性活动的参与者(自我报告):入境后 7 天内血清或尿液妊娠检测呈阴性。
对于进行可能导致怀孕的性活动的参与者(自我报告):同意在研究药物治疗期间以及停止研究药物后 30 天内采取至少一种非激素避孕方法或避免异性性交。 非激素方法包括:
- 男用或女用避孕套
- 隔膜或宫颈帽(含有杀精剂,如果有的话)
- 非激素宫内节育器 (IUD) 或宫内节育系统 (IUS)
- 进入时,打算在研究随访期间留在研究中心的服务区域,或者愿意在服务范围之外接受随访(如果/当适用时),由现场调查员根据参与者/家长/监护人确定报告。
排除标准:
- 推测或记录的累及中枢神经系统和/或骨骼和/或关节的肺外结核、和/或粟粒性结核、和/或心包结核和/或胃肠道结核和/或肾结核。
- 入境时年龄不足 3 个月的早产儿(妊娠不满 37 周出生)。
服用任何研究药物的任何已知禁忌症:
- 已知对任何研究药物或与研究药物同类的药物过敏或不耐受;
- 入境前三天内或接下来 6 个月内计划使用的任何违禁药物;
- 无法服用口服药物;
- 已知非电解质紊乱引起的 QT 延长综合征病史。
- 在开始研究药物之前的 6 个月内接受了超过 10 天的针对结核病的治疗。
- 已知或怀疑对异烟肼、利福平、吡嗪酰胺、乙胺丁醇和/或氟喹诺酮类药物耐药的结核分枝杆菌分离株。
- 已知接触患有耐药结核病的感染性成人,包括对异烟肼、利福平、吡嗪酰胺、乙胺丁醇和/或氟喹诺酮类药物耐药。
- 是否有任何其他记录或怀疑的临床重大医疗状况,或现场研究者认为会使参与研究不安全、使研究结果数据的解释复杂化或以其他方式干扰研究目标实现的任何其他状况。

逾期除外:
