Az antibiotikummal töltött kalcium-szulfát gyöngyök profilaktikus hatásának bemutatása olyan nem módosítható kockázati tényezőkkel rendelkező betegeknél, akiknél csípő- vagy térdízületi pótlást kell végezni, összehasonlítva a kontrollcsoporttal.
Ismerni a kalcium-szulfát gyöngyökkel végzett antibiotikum-profilaxis gazdasági költségeit nem módosítható kockázati tényezőkkel rendelkező csípő- vagy térdízületi pótláson átesett betegeknél.

- csípő- vagy térdtörésben vagy osteoarthrosisban szenvedő betegek, akiknél ízületi pótlásra van szükség.
- olyan betegek, akiknél a nem módosítható kockázati tényezők bármelyike fennáll a műtét előtt vagy a transzoperatív időszakban.
- Az ISSEMyM-re (Instituto de Seguridad Social del Estado de Mexico y Municipios) jogosult betegek
Kizárási kritériumok:
- Betegek, akik elvesztik intézményi jogaikat, és nem járnak utána
- Azok a betegek, akik a vizsgálat során az ortopédiai eljáráshoz nem kapcsolódó egyéb okok miatt halnak meg.
- Olyan betegek, akiknél nem állnak fenn a periprotézis fertőzés kockázati tényezői
- Vankomicinre vagy ceftriaxonra allergiás betegek.

Azok a résztvevők, akik a 12 hetes megfigyelési időszak alatt alsó csípő- vagy térdízületi fertőzési arányt értek el helyi kontra hagyományos intravénás antibiotikus profilaxissal, CRP-vel mérve, ERS-t a szérumban és szinoviális folyadékleukocitákban.
Időkeret: 5. nap, 4., 8. és 12. hét

Az akut periprotetikus térd- vagy csípőfertőzést CRP és ESR szérum biomarkerek segítségével határoztuk meg, amelyek a periprotetikus ízületi fertőzések szakirodalmában leggyakrabban publikált szérum biomarkerek.
A CRP küszöbértéke 93 mg/l, az ESR esetében pedig 44 mm/óra.
A szérum biomarker mintát az 5. napon, valamint a 4., 8. és 12. héten vettük és értékeltük. Az ízületi folyadékban lévő leukociták a 12 800 sejt/µL feletti határponttal rendelkező periprotézises ízületi fertőzés meghatározásának kritériumai közé tartoznak, és csak akkor vették figyelembe, ha a szérum biomarkerek voltak. emelkedtek.
