상세 설명
모리스타운 메모리얼 병원(뉴저지주 모리스타운)의 신생아 중환자실에서 이중 맹검, 위약 대조 무작위 시험에 적격한 극미숙아가 등록됩니다. 피험자는 생후 첫 24시간 이내에 등록되고 Epo 또는 식염수 위약을 받도록 무작위로 배정됩니다.
모든 피험자에게 표준 NICU 치료가 제공됩니다. 일련의 검사, CBC-d, 망상적혈구 수, 혈청 Epo 수준, 일련의 HUS 및 두부 MRI는 연구 기간 동안 정해진 시점에 수집됩니다. 교정 연령 18~22개월에 피험자는 뇌성마비, Bayley Scores of Infant Development-II(BSID-II) 정신 발달 지수(MDI), BSID-II 정신운동 발달 지수(PDI), 양측 청력을 평가하는 신경 발달 평가를 받게 됩니다. 보조 사용 및 시각 장애.

- 출생 시 500~1250g
- 출생 시 임신 32주 미만
- 등록 당시 24시간 미만
제외 기준:
- 선천성 기형(염색체, CNS, 심장, GI, 폐)
- 생후 24시간 이내의 발작
- 생후 첫 24시간 이내 중증 호중구감소증(ANC < 500 cells/microL)
- 생후 첫 24시간 이내 적혈구증가증(Hct > 65%)
- 생후 첫 24시간 이내 혈소판 감소증(혈소판 < 50K cells/microL)
- 생후 첫 24시간 이내에 승압제 없이 고혈압(SBP > 100mmHg)
