- 18세에서 80세 사이의 모든 인종의 남성 또는 여성
- 고혈압 전단계 또는 고혈압으로 진단되고 기준선 방문 중에 확인됨
- 스크리닝 전 ≥30 동안 항고혈압제를 사용하지 않음
- 현재 항고혈압제를 복용하지 않거나 항고혈압제(예: 이뇨제, 안지오텐신 전환 효소 억제제(ACEI), 안지오텐신 II 수용체 차단제(ARB), ] 베타 차단제(BB), 레닌 억제제(RI), 칼슘 채널 차단제(CCB) 또는 알파-아드레날린 작용제(클로니딘))
- 장치의 화면 안내를 볼 수 있는 환자의 충분한 시력, 장치의 오디오 안내를 들을 수 있는 환자의 충분한 청각, 충분한 손의 힘(장치에서 측정한 양손의 최대 수의적 수축이 35 단위의 힘으로 입증됨) )
- 기준선 방문 중에 수집된 기준선 혈압 측정 및 연구 장치 교육 완료
- 연구 기간 동안 고혈압과 관련된 약물 및 비처방(OTC) 보충 요법을 사용하지 않음
- 가구당 한 명의 환자만 연구에 참여할 수 있으므로 맹검 해제 가능성이 없습니다.
- 연구 절차를 준수할 수 있고 필요한 모든 연구 방문 및 관련 활동을 완료하는 데 동의합니다.

제외 기준
- 임신 중이거나 적절한 피임법을 사용하지 않는 경우
- 혈압 ≥150mmHg(수축기) 및/또는 >90mmHg(이완기)
- 심부전의 병력
지난 6개월 이내에 임박하거나 진행성 표적 장기 기능 장애(즉, 신장 기능 장애, 좌심실 비대 또는 CNS 침범)가 있는 고혈압 응급 상황으로 인한 입원
• 스크리닝 중 수집된 오른팔과 왼팔 사이의 수축기 혈압의 >10 mmHg 차이
- 기준 혈압 측정을 결정하기 위한 두(2) 연속 주간 판독값(최대 네(4) 번의 시도) 사이의 >5 mmHg 차이로 정의되는 불안정한 혈압
- 팔 둘레 45cm 이상
- 급성 질환, 감염 또는 염증
- 지난 6개월 이내의 MI, 불안정 협심증, 심각한 부정맥, 뇌졸중 또는 TIA와 같은 불안정한 심혈관 장애 또는 1년 미만의 기대 수명에 영향을 미치는 기타 심각한 합병증
- 지난 6개월 동안의 휴식 또는 활동성 협심증
- 고형 장기 이식의 역사
- 원발성 알도스테론증, 만성 스테로이드 요법 및 쿠싱 증후군, 갈색 세포종, 대동맥 협착 또는 치료되지 않은 갑상선 또는 부갑상선 질환을 포함하되 이에 국한되지 않는 이차성 고혈압(HTN) 병인
