OASIS: Wzajemne wsparcie dla T2DM w Appalachach (uczestnik równorzędny) (OASIS)
Starsi dorośli korzystający ze wsparcia społecznego w celu poprawy samoopieki: adaptacja, wdrożenie i wykonalność wsparcia rówieśniczego dla starszych dorosłych z T2DM w Appalachach.
Celem tego badania klinicznego jest porównanie efektów modeli coachingu rówieśniczego u osób starszych z niewyleczoną cukrzycą typu drugiego. Główne pytania, na które ma odpowiedzieć, to:
Czy modele coachingu rówieśniczego skutecznie promują samodzielne leczenie cukrzycy typu 2?
Jeśli jest skuteczny, które aspekty modelu równorzędnego są najbardziej skuteczne? Trenerzy rówieśniczy przejdą szkolenie z zakresu coachingu rówieśniczego.
Co tydzień/dwa tygodnie kontaktuj się z uczestnikami programu, aby omówić samozarządzanie i wyznaczanie celów.
Zachowaj zapisy kontaktów, omawianych tematów i ogólnych notatek na temat interakcji. Naukowcy porównają różnice w częstotliwości kontaktów, a także sposób dopasowywania trenerów rówieśniczych do uczestników, aby sprawdzić, czy skuteczność interwencji zmienia się pomiędzy grupami.
