Ontwikkelingen van nieuwe virtuele visuele en haptische stimulatiesystemen voor ouderen

Eerdere onderzoeken hebben aangetoond dat sensorische input een positieve invloed kan hebben op de controle van de vingerkracht bij ouderen.
Bovendien zijn er, volgens eerdere rapporten, naast farmacotherapie ook niet-farmacologische interventies, zoals psychosociale omgevingsbehandelingen, in opkomst voor het gedrag en de affectieve symptomen bij AD.
Bovendien leidt een verbeterde controle en coördinatie van de vingerkracht tot een betere handvaardigheid en wordt aangenomen dat dit uiteindelijk de levensonafhankelijkheid bij gezonde ouderen en ouderen met AD zal verbeteren.
Daarom heeft deze studie tot doel nieuwe virtuele visuele en haptische stimulatiesystemen voor ouderen te ontwikkelen om hun vingerkrachtcontrole te verbeteren.

Deelname Criteria

Inclusiecriteria:
- Leeftijd ≥ 65 jaar
- Gezonde volwassene (geen skeletspieren, neurologische ziekte die de training beïnvloedt).
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Neurologische aandoeningen
- Musculoskeletale problemen
- Geschiedenis van de operatie Patiënten met de ziekte van Alzheimer
Inclusiecriteria:
- Gediagnosticeerd met de ziekte van Alzheimer.
- Geen skeletspier, neurologische ziekte die de training zal beïnvloeden.

Experimenteel: AR-mPETS
proefpersonen zullen worden geïnstrueerd om gesimuleerde pianospeltaken uit te voeren met Augmented Reality.

Het Pressing Evaluation and Training System (PETS) bestaat uit vijf krachttransducers, een in positie verstelbaar frame en een biofeedbacksysteem.
Er worden vijf krachtopnemers gebruikt om de uitgeoefende normaalkracht uit vijf cijfers te verzamelen.
