该项目的主要目的是测试运动对急性尼古丁戒断的影响。
急性尼古丁戒断的特征是出现一系列复杂的症状,这些症状与尝试戒烟的个体复吸风险增加有关。

研究概览
详细说明
拟议工作的目标是测试:1)运动对情绪、睡眠的客观测量和提示反应性的影响; 2) 在短时间(几小时)和更长时间(24 至 72 小时)戒烟后,以给定强度和持续时间进行锻炼的效果;和 3) 早上锻炼与晚上锻炼对拟议结果领域的影响。
我们计划实施受试者内设计,使我们能够在四种不同条件下为 18 至 45 岁的每个受试者收集措施:1)随意吸烟; 2)禁欲2至72小时后的晚间锻炼; 3)禁欲2-72小时后的晨练; 4) 禁欲 2 至 72 小时后停止运动。
锻炼将以固定和监测的剂量和持续时间进行。
通过收集早晚戒断症状和提示反应性的测量值,我们还将测试运动在减少戒断症状和提示反应性方面的效果是否会在运动结束后立即显示出超过分钟/小时的延长效果。

- 18-45岁
- 不经常锻炼,定义为每周锻炼少于 3 次且每次不超过 20 分钟
- 无内科疾病(需要由医生证明能够以 60% 的最大心率 (MHR) 运动)
- 目前符合 DSM-IV 尼古丁依赖标准(没有任何其他精神疾病的当前或过去病史)
- 至少连续 12 个月每天至少吸 8 支香烟,上个月未尝试戒烟,目前未服用戒烟药物
- 当前显示一氧化碳呼吸读数 >10 和尿可替宁水平 >3
- 晚上 9:30 之间的习惯性就寝时间和凌晨 1:30
- 身体质量指数 (BMI) 小于 40。
排除标准:
- 无法运动
- 目前被诊断或治疗任何精神疾病;将根据具体情况考虑使用精神药物治疗
- 任何情绪或精神障碍的病史或积极治疗或过去一年的任何治疗
- 当前或过去对睡眠障碍的诊断
- 目前正在服用睡眠药物或其他已知会改变睡眠结构的药物
