  • 다음 기준 중 하나를 충족하는 조직학적 또는 병리학적으로 확인된 유방암:

    • 국소 진행성 질환(IIIB기 질환, IIB/IIIA기 또는 IIIC기 질환)

    • 다음 두 가지 임상병리학적 기준을 충족하는 염증성 질환:

      • 유방 피부의 대부분, 즉 50% 이상을 포함하는 유방의 미만성 홍반 및 부종(peau d'orange)
      • 피부 림프관 내 또는 유방 실질 자체에서 암을 나타내는 생검

  • DAKO, IHC 또는 동등한 테스트에서 0 또는 1+(약하거나 염색되지 않음)로 입증된 HER2/neu 음성 종양 또는 FISH*에 의해 유전자 증폭이 없음

    • FISH* 음성인 경우 DAKO 또는 IHC에 의한 2+ 허용
