Efeitos do Lactobacillus Plantarum PS128 em crianças com transtorno do espectro do autismo
O transtorno do espectro do autismo (TEA) é um transtorno do neurodesenvolvimento que pode causar déficits sociais, de comunicação e comportamentais significativos.
Os probióticos são considerados microrganismos ativos.
Com quantidades suficientes, os probióticos podem regular a flora intestinal, a permeabilidade intestinal, a inflamação e as reações antioxidantes no corpo.
Essas reações podem promover ainda mais a saúde, regular a progressão da doença metabólica e prevenir complicações.
Lactobacillus plantarum PS128 (PS128) foi relatado como um psicobiótico em vários estudos com animais e humanos que modulam os níveis de neurotransmissores em diferentes áreas do cérebro.
Este estudo é avaliar se o consumo de PS128 pode melhorar os sintomas de pacientes com TEA.
O atual estudo randomizado, controlado por placebo, foi conduzido para investigar os efeitos psicofisiológicos do PS128 em crianças em idade escolar com TEA.

Critério de inclusão:
- (1) Idade de 7 a 12 anos.
- (2) Grupo PS128 e grupo placebo: Crianças com transtorno do espectro do autismo, confirmado pelo Esquema de Observação de Diagnóstico de Autismo.
- (3) Grupo de controle normal: crianças sem transtorno do espectro autista.
Critério de exclusão:
- (1) Recebendo antibióticos dentro de um mês.
- (2) Probióticos usados em pó, cápsula ou comprimido em duas semanas (exceto Iogurte, Iogurte, Yakult e outros alimentos relacionados).
- (3) Pacientes com trato gastrintestinal hepatobiliar submetidos a cirurgia (exceto cirurgia de hérnia e apendicectomia)
- (4) Aqueles com dietas especiais (sem glúten, sem caseína, hiperproteica e dieta cetogênica).
- (5) Aqueles com histórico de câncer.
- (6) Aqueles que são alérgicos a bactérias do ácido láctico.
- (7) Não elegível julgado por PI

Experimental: PS128
Os participantes tomarão cápsulas de PS128 todos os dias (2 cápsulas/dia, uma vez) durante 12 semanas.

Cada cápsula de PS128 continha >3 × 10^10 unidades formadoras de colônias (CFU) com celulose microcristalina e pesos de 425 ± 25 mg.
|

Comparador de Placebo: Placebo
Os indivíduos tomarão cápsulas de placebo todos os dias (2 cápsulas/dia, uma vez) durante 12 semanas.

The 16S rRNA gene amplicons will be prepared following the Illumina protocol for preparing the 16S metagenomic sequencing library.
